Interview: Model Sienna Stass (Australia)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am an Australian born actress and model, with Greek heritage. I recently completed filming my first lead role in an Australian film 'I, Portrait' directed by Nathan Hill.

I am very passionate about animal rights, human rights and equality and saving the planet.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I accept myself and my flaws and wouldn't change a thing. As Marilyn Munroe famously said, "Imperfection is beauty".

How did you start modeling?

My uncle (Tim Turnbull) started working as a photographer a several years ago, he asked me to help him out on a few shoots and model for him. As an artist, I'm always looking for a creative outlet and a way to express myself. Modeling, much like acting, allows me to do so.

What do you think of the work as a model?

Overall i've worked with some incredibly talented and creative artists. Melbourne is a goldmine for brilliant photographers and designers who are willing to push the boundaries and see past traditional ideas.

What is your beauty regimen?

I only use organic products and make ethical choices as I live a vegan lifestyle. I try to wear makeup as little as possible and moisturise both morning and night. However, the most vital aspect of my daily regimen is wearing sunscreen on my face every day.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am never afraid to take a risk and fail, in fact, I welcome failure because I strongly believe it teaches us the most important lessons in life.

What are your plans for the future?

I've been cast as the lead in a biopic/documentary that commences filming early 2018. I'm also planning on moving to Canada next year to further pursue my acting career.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I've been working closely with talented fashion designer 'Maison Issar' as one of her lead models. I'm so proud and honoured to be apart of a label that is focused on empowering women and embracing femininity.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Never compromise your integrity. Stay true to who you are and don't feel pressured to deviate from your own journey to cater to someone else's demands.

What do you think of the magazine?

The magazine is a very creative and versatile reference for anybody interested in fashion and the artists involved in bringing fashion to life.
