Interview: Cover Model Nerize Peyper (Australia)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I’m born in South Africa on April Fool’s Day, but I consider myself an Aussie because I’ve lived here for most of my life. I love animals, especially bunnies. I love to read and sometimes I can finish an entire book in a day.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

My perception of myself. Nowadays there are so many standards and ideas of what women should look like that I can sometimes forget that there is nothing wrong with my body. I’m always working on accepting myself for who I am :)

How did you start modeling?

I was scouted by Charlie Octavia who referred me to Vivien’s Model Management. I signed with Vivien’s, one of the best decisions I ever made

What do you think of the work as a model?

I love it. I get to meet so many new people, travel, and experience things I never thought I would do. My favourite work is a photoshoot.

What is your beauty regimen?

I hardly ever wear makeup on a day-to-day basis, but if I do I always like to wash my face with soap and warm water, and gently exfoliate my skin. If I feel like my skin isn’t squeaky clean yet, I like to use a face mask. And I always moisturise my face after! I have dry skin so I have to make sure I keep it nice and hydrated.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I’m very bubbly and friendly, I’ll always help out if I can, and I’m very loyal to and protective of the people I care about.

What are your plans for the future?

I intend to study at university at some point in the future, but I’m still trying to figure out what I want to study. All I know is that I definitely want to travel.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I went and lived in Europe for three months earlier this year. It was my first time in Europe and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I especially loved going to Bodrum in turkey and Mykonos in Greece.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Work hard, believe in yourself, step out of your comfort zone, stay true to yourself and your values.

What do you think of the magazine?

It’s very cool :)
