Interview: Model Marissa Banach (North Carolina, VS)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My names Marissa Banach, I’m from a small town in North Carolina called Marion. I live around the Blue Ridge Mountains. I enjoy being outdoors and seeing new things, I grew up on four wheelers when I was younger and recently purchased a 2017 Yamaha R3 to continue on with my wild side. I’m always ready for new adventures and can’t wait to see where my new journeys take me.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I honestly can’t think of anything I would change, I believe everyone should love theirselves in all aspects of personal development. But always make room for improvements
How did you start modeling?
It’s kind of funny, actually. I started getting into clothes and dressing up more, posting pictures of me on social media and a photographer saw me and asked to shoot. I was hesitant at first but I went through with it. After I posted the pictures from my very first shoot, more photographers got in contact with me. It became a domino effect and I’m very blessed for that. I would not change a thing.
What do you think of the work as a model?
The work is really fun, it can be very challenging at times. Trying different looks you’ve not done yet and expecting that you’ll get the results you were looking for, It can be a lot of work. But I enjoy the work it brings. Trying to nail the look every time and putting your all into it, is quite relaxing and enjoyable for me. I can’t wait to see what I can create next!
What is your beauty regimen?
Well, I always make sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day because it is the best hydration for skin. I wash my face with Clinique face wash and also use the Clinique make-up remover. And as for my hair, I use Argon Oil shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair silky and shiny! Other than that I make sure to get enough rest and eat healthy foods!
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
I’m kind and loving to others which I believe is a big part of who I am, I think you should always be nice to others because you never know what they’re going through.
What are your plans for the future?
I don’t know what the future will hold, but I hope to continue modeling and start traveling the world with the one I love beside me.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
My best experience was with a photographer named Louis Reed. He is always open to my ideas, always makes me feel like I’m at home. The work we’ve created the few times we have shot is just magical in my eyes.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Follow your dreams! Ignore all negativity and keep moving forward. Learn from your experiences the bad and good. Use that as your motivation to do better and always keep your head held high. And never give up!
What do you think of the magazine?
I think the magazine is very informative and is always catching the right look and showing the strength of both women and men.
