Bijgewerkt op: 6 mrt.

Can you tell us a little about you?

IM 38 years old, live in Aalborg, Denmark. Live with myu girlfriend Helena and have a daughter Sol, which is a amazing model.

How and when did you get into photography? It started with i did small videoprojects, then people began to ask if i did stillphotography. This is 5 years ago, and recently im educated as a photographer.

What does photography mean to you?

Its my hobby and my daily life. I work professional with photography. Most fashion and pacs. I hope some day its artistic photos i can earn my money on.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.

I like conceptual photos, so i really try to think creative and innovative. Im a sucker for beauty and dark beauty. But i also like classic portraits.

Where do you get inspiration from? My inspiration comes from daily life, i like combining 2 opposites and create a picture out of that. I often use my inner matters to communicate how i feel or see the world.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?

Yes mostly. But i dont plan details. I like when something just pop up out and being spontaneous.

Studio, on location or both?

I have my own studio, but i like location as well.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

Im a paid professionel. Ive been selfemployes with my own buisness for 3 years.

What has been your most memorable session and why?

I have only once made a picture for a contest, earlier i was really active sending in pictures for dark beauty magazine. They had this contest where Lindsay Adler was the judge, I won a 2nd place. Over 1000 of very talented photographers were participating. I wasnt expecting to win. On the picture i used 36 childreen and one female model.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?

I use canon. But to be honest. I would prefer Nikon. Sony could also be a great system to use. But the menus are very confusing.

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?

Do a lot of collabs and really just play. If you want next level, go to a workshop were you like the style the photographer has.

What do you think of our new magazine?

Its very cool, that its so world wide and represent amateurs and professional and different styles. I like the diversity.
