Interview: Model Elena Beliaeva (Russia)

Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Elena. I was born in Russia. Since I was 17 years old I became financially independent. Moved apart from my parents I began to study chemistry. Meanwhile i was working as a project and product manager, events executive, doing modeling and photography. After finishing my degree in Moscow I moved to France and during my first year I was living in Toulouse, in the south of the country and was studying over there. Then I realized that the fashion industry was always my passion and my decision to move to Paris didn’t take a long time. Paris gave me the opportunity to work as a sales representative in a German medical company. They gave me the occasion to travel with them all over the world and participate in the largest international exhibitions and forums. However I was always keeping myself busy with modeling and photography. When I got the chance to have a new experience I moved to Middle East without any doubts. And now here I am!

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Sometimes I wish I could be more open with my loved ones and be able to provide more attention to my family members and friends.

How did you start modeling?

As I am very creative person, so it came to me in natural way. A friend of mine proposed to shoot me, afterwards people began to know me and call me to participate in their projects as well.

What do you think of the work as a model?

Its always exciting to be a part of creativity. Imagine, you are continuously in the process of creating something special, something that you love, something that keeps you awake day and night. These feelings are really inspiring.

What is your beauty regimen?

Simply speaking of this sensitive subject, sleeping hours are very important. I always try to sleep enough at night time to be fully energized by the next day. Additionally I am keeping my healthy habits- drinking water, eating vegetables, doing sports and having UV cream in my purse

And honestly speaking I’m not interested in nightlife activities, smoking and drinking alcohol. Because in reality our life is beautiful and it’s important to be able to enjoy your life each and every moment.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Empathy. It is very important to know what people want to see in a result. I am always able to predict people’s behavior and exceed their expectations.

Positive: I am very generous person and I am happy to share my positive strong energy with team production and everyone who looks at ready pictures.

What are your plans for the future?

In future I see myself as a good person as I am right now. Traveling and discovering the world, One of my big dreams is to run an adoption center for dogs in Russia. The day it will happen - will be the happiest moment of my life.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

My most memorable experiences were with Garnier, L’Oréal, Morgan, Frank Provost and etc.

it’s huge esthetic satisfaction to be part of a super professional team, to have opportunities to exchange experience and improve my skills.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Always read about the company before going to the casting. My first big casting finished unsuccessfully, when on the video interview for the question “Do you like coffee?” I said “Oh, i dont drink coffee, I hate it”. Imagine, it was a casting for Nescafe.

And of course believe in yourself, that you are the one who deserves this job. If you won’t believe in that, no one will choose you. Your passion and attitude are essential keys of your success.
