Interview: Model Muccioli Hélène (France)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I’m Hélène Muccioli, I’m 28 yo and I was born in Metz (France). I have several backgrounds : french, italian, polish and german. Younger, I already loved art, dance, fashion and photography … I’m a curious and creative girl. After graduation and different experiences in marketing and purchasing, I dedicated my life to modeling for 5 years. Today, I'm a part-time communications manager in a digital and events agency in Paris.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would say that I have some fears and doubts and can block me. For instance, I would love to live in a foreign country for a year but I don't have the guts to do it. I like to be accompanied to share my feelings. Apart from that, I'm someone who, when things aren't going well, makes sure to change, to move things! I'm living the life I want to live... when I don't like it anymore, I change!

How did you start modeling?

At the age of 17, I started taking pictures with amateur photographers in Metz (France) and I was also in a modeling agency in Nancy. I never wanted to stop studying to be a full-time model though. I waited until I was 23 in order to graduate and have professional experiences to ensure my future. When I was ready, I tried to model full time and moved to Paris. That’s how I approached several agencies and did castings and how jobs followed one after the other.

What do you think of the work as a model?

It's a great way to earn some money. Also, I have the chance to meet many people in the artistic field (photographers, make up/hair artists, stylists etc… and to discover many brands and splendid places). I can also travel the globe and discover other cultures and lifestyles. BUT it’s important for me to have other interests because modeling is all about image, it’s not good for yourself in the long run . You have to have another job or a passion on the side to feel alive, to just be human : to have colleagues, to share, to exchange, not to be a simple hanger ! ;)

What is your beauty regimen?

It’s a question that comes up a lot! I love life so I’m eating and drinking according to my desires. I don't deprive myself. Nevertheless, I try to be physically active and to eat healthy most of the time. I'm not a catwalk models, thus I don't need to be on a drastic diet, what a horror!

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I'm pro-active, I don't wait for things to come to me, I provoke destiny! I'm a determined, voluntary and sociable person! I love being surrounded by caring people, I deeply love human beings.

What are your plans for the future?

Continue to travel the world ! And undertake in the world of communication, art or in other sectors ☺

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

When you're a model, you have some pretty amazing experiences in some magical places. I shot in front of the Mont Blanc, in great Parisian palaces like the Georges V, in a villa in Spain. Thanks to the income from modeling I have traveled for pleasure in Asia, Australia, America, Europe ... Travelling is the key to make me feel alive!

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Believe in your dreams! Always go for it and visualize your success! Stay yourself, humble, listen to others and the contracts will come to you!

What do you think of the magazine?

Modellenland Magazine allows you to discover artists from all over the world, in the field of photography and fashion. It is a great way to improve its network, to make new encounters and to get new jobs in these artistic universes.
