Interview: Photographer Ryszard Błażynski (Poland)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Ryszard Błażynski, I am 58 years old, married, 2 adult daughters, I am not a professional photographer, I practice a different, very absorbing profession.
How and when did you get into photography? In fact, I have been photographing "always", since my young years, but only now, when I have a little more time and less professional duties, I take model photos.
What does photography mean to you?
I like people, contact in relations - photographer - model - make-up artists etc. is very specific and emotional, although purely professional. If I can show something: about the model, about me etc. cool photo comes out.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
Closest to the portrait, so it's important that there are emotions and sensuality. No vulgarity. I like melancholic photos.
Where do you get inspiration from? Inspirations - it sounds terribly serious and in my opinion artificial. You have to listen to music. And look at photos of others, without names, but there are masters over masters.
Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?
I would love to plan and create sessions, such a dream of creative photography, but for now, with satisfaction and pleasure I take part in sessions where we rather improvise with the model.
Studio, on location or both?
Outdoor and studio.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I am definitely a hobbyist. I don't say if it's good or bad, it's just the way it is.
What has been your most memorable session and why?
Sometimes it looks strange, but not very successful outdoor activities, or a photographic trip results in meeting other, wonderful people or, for example, friendship with another photographer. Photography is simply a great job.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
Nikon, favorite 105 DC Nikkor.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
A hobbyist should not give advice regarding a photography company.

Your magazine is a piece of good work, a lot of knowledge and inspiration.
