Interview: Model Angelescu Andreea (Romania)
Can you tell us a little about you?
Hello, I’m Andreea, as known as Nygma which comes from enygma. I choose this name because it represents me. I always have a different mood. Never the same. I like to get from one character to another. I like to study people. Gestures, clothes, facial mimics, posture and then be that person, character. I notice that I can be wherever I want to be. If I want to be a child, I am a child, if I want to be a woman, so here I am!
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I am too sensitive. Everything makes me very emotional like I am going to break myself into thousands of pieces and the only way I can express all those emotions is by posing.
How did you start modeling?
I started modeling 6-7 years ago, when I was I high school. My first shootings were in nature with a friend of mine and always came with different ideas every time we shoot.
What do you think of the work as a model?
I am very sincerely, but I don’t like the idea of the “model”. It’s too common. I am a muse, I like to express my feelings, my desire soul by posing.
What is your beauty regimen?
I like simplicity. I am who I want to be. I don’t want to be someone because what would people say.
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
I always go my own way. I like to have something just my own. If I like a shooting idea I’ll do it even if somebody else considered weird! So, if you are a photographer and you have a fantastic idea to shoot – tell me and I’ll be your muse!
What are your plans for the future?
I want to travel. A lot! And – obviously – to shoot! It’s simple
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
I am glad that I met people during the shootings, workshops, jobs that I don’t have words for them. People that you should know...
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
The only thing that it’s important: you should love it, you should feel it, you should let yourself to be you in the front of the camera.
What do you think of the magazine?
I discoverede the magazine trough a friend of mine, photographer, who’s photos of mine were already published here. It was a beautiful surprise because it's a great place where you can show your work and get inspired by others.
