Interview: Model Matea Petrovic (Austria)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am currently living in Austria and finishing my degree in Health Management. I am an ocean person and love to do all kind of sports under the sun. I have a sympathy for cars and speed and feel home when I’m on the racing track. I love to eat and I’m vegan. I combine adventure travel with modeling.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

If I have a plan, I want to do it immediately. Sometimes my impatient leads to fast decisions without thinking about it.

How did you start modelling?

A scout of an ageny found my in a shopping mall.

What do you think of the work as a model?

It’s art.

What is your beauty regimen?

Most important thing is to avoid stress. So taking time for yourself, going to the spa and make a beauty treatment work the best. Also drinking a lot of water, eating healthy and beeing active everyday is the best combination for inner and outer beauty. Water and foods are hydrating skin and sport is necessary for good body shape.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I always find a way to have a good relationship with the people around me.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to make a lot of adventure travel. Maybe move to another country and find a job I love to work.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

One of my favorite experience in model work is a job I did in africa. It was a bikini job. I had a lot of fun with the team I liked the work we did. But it was not just the job. We also experiences the wild life of africa, learned about a new culture and had a good time with people. It was a combination of work and vacation.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

If you really want to be a model, there is always a way to be it. Take care of your body because you work with it. Apply to agencies you like, even if you maybe don’t have the requierments. Take every chance. Go abroad for jobs. Believe in yourself, you can do it!

What do you think of the magazine?

I love this magazine. There is so much great content in it. The pictures are professional, and I love that everybody has free access. So many artists (models, photographers …) are inspiring and make you want to read and learn more about each person. This magazine is authentic and gives opportunities and ideas for future work!
