Interview: Model Fay Eve Vincent (Australia)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi my name is Fay Eve Vincent, My place of birth was Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I enjoy visiting my ‘hometown’ whenever the opportunity arises - I have had a nomadic existence, from an early age…

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I feel that I am always evolving/changing my look and mindset as change is one of the only constants in life. Like a snake shedding its skin and growing a new one. Apart from that the only other thing that I’d like to change is that- I wish I knew then, what I knew now!

How did you start modelling?

My Father was a professional Photographer. So he was always talking photography to me and taking photos. Things have just naturally snowballed from there. I see inspiration everywhere as far as the creative process goes. Modelling and photography have always been a part of my world.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I feel fortunate to work as a model and to make a success from it. For me it is human nature to be creative and or sometimes launch into being another character for a period of time…. I enjoy the many challenges…. And essentially getting ‘the shot’.

What is your beauty regimen?

‘A smile is the best make up a girl can wear’…. So a sense of humour is the key to my beauty routine. Otherwise Sunscreen is my religion.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I have been described by others as ‘good at putting people at ease’…..‘determined’ and ‘out there’ not always in that order. I just think of myself as painfully shy….

What are your plans for the future?

I don’t tell anyone about my future plans…. I prefer to show them.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

My ‘favourite experiences’ are far to outrageous to mention on here!!! Though the general ongoing creative process mixed with exotic locations and fabulous characters has … got my friends encouraging me to write a book.!

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

Use everything you’ve got and never give up.

What do you think of the magazine?

It’s always exciting to get in front of a new audience…and to do so via this wonderful platform with opportunities for artists abound ….gives me a huge source of inspiration. I am humbled that you have invited me to take part in this fun interview! Thank you for showing my images and stories to your readers.
