Interview: Photographer Seweryn Kiedrowicz (United Kingdom)

Tell us something about yourself

I am 35 years old, I was born in Chojnice, photography is my property for 7 years, I am interested in antiques. It is not important to me their price or rather to restore them to life because they believe that they have souls, In free time I visit museums, galleries because I am fascinated by the achievements of humanity. From time to time you close for a moment before the world to listen to the inner self. I'm shut up, I listen to classical music to be alone with myself And get away from the freak world

How and when did you get into photography?

It's a long story, just like everyone started shooting, kids at a family picnic, and once I had the opportunity to photograph the model, I motivated me to continue working with women. I want to show emotions in the pictures, just as my photos would emotionally stir up

What does photography mean to you?

And what are you breathing? ? For me it is a lifestyle, in every picture I want to show myself to myself, so that everyone knows that this is my photo, even though it is not signed

Works most often with women so most portrait, beauty, sensual, art nude,

Where do you get inspiration from?

It inspires many things, such as the place, the weather, the positive people, it all merges in

Think you in advance what you want in the picture?

Yes and no, it does not always give me what I want, but the photos come out more often than I would have planned, but it has its unpredictable charm.

Studio, on location or both?

This and that, I like the studio work with one light fixture, the same likes the work in the location, depends on the nature of the pictures

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

I consider myself a hobbyist, yet many things I have to learn

What has been your most memorable session and why?

First session with Mischkah, a very positive person and thanks to her, I learned a lot, just as I did with every other model

What has been the biggest source of inspiration in your work?

Sometimes it takes a few hours for the model to trust me, but after that we create something beautiful, and that is what pleases me and drives me to the next action.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?

I started shooting nikon, it would be hard to switch to Canon, my favorite lens is 35mm and 50mm and 105macro

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?

Accurately specify what you want to photograph, give the client what the others do not give, and spend time trying to be the best in what we do
