Interview: Photographer Ewa Kępys (VS)

Tell us something about yourself. I like cats and italian food.

How and when did you get into photography? I fell in love with photography while I was working as a model

What does photography mean to you? It's my theraphy.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Portrait, fashion, conceptual.

Where do you get inspiration from? Music, literature, movies.

Think you in advance what you want in the picture? It depends, but my favourite works wasn't planned.

Studio, on location or both? Location! I hate working at the studio.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? A creator.

What has been your most memorable session and why? I love all spontanious shootings, the magic happens by fortuity.

What has been the biggest source of inspiration in your work? Books.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Mamyia ;) 35 mm 1.4

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Make pictures, everywhere and all the time.
