Interview: Model Laura Santanatoglia (Italy)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi ModellenLand, I’m a 26 year old girl with many dreams in my head, living life and believing in myself power. I studied as a biologist so nature is one of my biggest passion. I’m actually working but not missing my love for fashion and modelling.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I don’t think there’s something I would change, also if the world outside is teaching us how the perfection and the aesthethic are ruling the world of fashion and commerce. Nobody is perfet and the real happiness is being able to love ourselves in the way we are.

How did you start modeling?

I simply started modeling for an hair model agency and suddenly I fell in love with the idea of posing and expressioning myself through the camera.

What do you think of the work as a model?

It’s an hard work because of the many pressions that girls and boys are feeling, everyone is not trying to be a good model, but everyone is trying to be as more popular and social as they could. Is this modelling life too??

What is your beauty regimen?

Eating clean is the first thing ever: you are what you eat. It’s also true that I love junk food so sometimes I cheat the healthy one.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Determination and believing in my dreams are the only things that make my ideas come true and let me distinguish from the others.

What are your plans for the future?

I hope I will always have a goal to reach: that is the fuel that keep passion alive.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Travelling in the USA has been the best experience so far. I went to Orlando and then driven to Miami by car. Amazing. I’m sure there will be another american tour early.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

For those who want to start modelling the most important thing is believing in themselves, always.
