Interview: Model Katherine Pierce (Ukraine – Poland – USA)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hello all , I am Katherine , I am on my early 20th and my hobby is modeling . I was born in Ukraine but now it’s hard to say where I am based as I live in Poland sometimes Ukraine and USA.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Frankly speaking I like everything in myself. Maybe I’d only a bit more responsibility;)

How did you start modeling?

My friend was a photographer and he offered a photo session, so I agreed. After my first photo experience I decided to do it more frequently.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think being a model is a great job if you really get satisfaction from posing. Of course it has its advantages and disadvantages. As a freelance model, this job can’t be that profitable and you need to work extremely hard to decide some benefits from it later. But in the other side - it’s great experience in meeting new people and seeing new places around the world !

What is your beauty regimen?

Hmm I don’t have it actually . Just when I know I’ll have a photo project soon , I try to provide healthy life as healthy food , some sport ( I usually go boxing or running ). All other days I try to follow healthy path,too.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I think I have some tolerance to everything and everyone. I won’t start crying or get anxious. I know that I need to be on place and to dedicate myself to the job I enjoy. But it’s difficult to say what exactly distinguish me from others , better you ask people I’ve worked with;)

What are your plans for the future?

Not much for now. I just want to finish university and appear in more magazines . I’ve started this year with being in the cover of one magazine so hopefully every next year will be same !

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Definitely photo shooting in New York. I was running in a long red dress around city . People were helping me to get to subway . And I could never imagine that so many people would like to take picture with me. Another one in Grand Canyon as our team hiked for about 3 hours to the location - so exhausting, but breathtaking views and amazing results.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Not much. Be yourself. Love yourself.

What do you think of the magazine?

In my opinion, this magazine is a new energy in world of photography! And thanks to it, people all around the world can express themselves and show to others their successes.
