Interview: Photographer Magdalena Kowolik (Poland)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Magdalena Kowolik, im 35 years old and im from Poland. Art has always been present in our family. My grandfather was a photography enthusiast. But my adventure with photography began with sport. Im volleyball fan. First, I took up sports photography, from which I am still living. With time, I learned to work in the studio. I like to take challenges, that's why I photograph people. Models, ordinary customers who want to feel different than normal, children, and of course, undertake various commercial orders not related to fashion. I learned photography at school, but this collection of experience during sessions allows me to acquire new skills. That's what I like about photography.
How and when did you get into photography?
I started to learn photography while being a teenager.
What does photography mean to you?
Adventure, new experiences and meeting interesting people. A photographer's life is never boring.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
I do not have one style, I try to try new things. Sometimes you also have to compromise with the client. I never do anything against myself and my remesses.
Where do you get inspiration from?

Think you in advance what you want in the picture?
Yes, I always have a plan, even in sport photography.

Both
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
Im paid professional but i like to meet with my friends for make free projects
What has been your most memorable session and why?
I have many intresting sessions, hard to choose one. Photo session of hockey players in the icefhall on ice it was interesting, also some session with model and honey, or some funny makeup experiments.

Nikon, I use many lens …
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
Never give up, respect yourself and your work, people will reciprocate. Learn all the time.
