Interview: Model Chiara Dipietro (Italy)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Aged 24, I was born in Turin (North Italy) but my origins are from Sicily (South Italy)

Interested in fashion, contemporary art, literature and all forms of art.

Graduated at Albertina Academy of Fine arts in Turin, specialized in Fashion design and Costume

Dream of working in the fashion world, starting my own haute couture atelier. I have taken part in different stages and projects. Last year I had my favourite work experiences: one at Teatro Regio in Turin in a team of costumists: we made dress for the opera! Second a fashion show during Designers' Open event in Leipzig where I had the opportunity to walk the catwalk with one of my creations.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to improve my personality, be more positive and selfconscious...and maybe 10 cm taller!

How did you start modeling?

Photomodel since 2015. I started thanks to one of my best friend, an emerging fashion and fine art photographer Federica Schifano, we have been maturing together during these years.

At the beginning as a way to truly express myself after a long time of problems with anorexia

Then became a sort of work

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I collaborated with emerging brand, visual artists, video productions, photographic workshops and fashion shows; mainly portraiture works and fine art photography – I like gothic and extravagant projects

What is your beauty regimen?

In my daily life I don't wear so much make up, I take care of my skin first of all, I have my little weekly work out, I walk a lot and I have a balanced diet.

I think that despite my little stature I can be very expressive and elegant and so I'm very good with portrait. I'm willing, determinated and above all I try to be always professional and serious in my work.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

I think that the most important thing in this world is to be expressive, act naturally and I suggest to experiment different photographic genres in order to discover wich kind of photo you are best at.

Modeling is funny and satisfying if you work with seriousness and professionalism

What do you think of the magazine?

I think this magazine is a good opportunity to promote new talents and to spread culture of beauty and femininity
