Interview: Photographer Eleonora Vergnano (Italy)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I’m Eleonora Vergnano, I’m a photographer based in Turin (italy)

How and when did you get into photography?

The passion of photography was born when I was 20 years old but But I was passionate about the fashion only about two years ago

What does photography mean to you?

With the photograph I can express myself.. it’s a language..and I don’t need words

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.

I prefer to portray primarily female subjects... immersed in environments that I’d define almost onyric ... after portraits I started to approach more on the editorial fashion photography.

Where do you get inspiration from? I take inspiration from films, other artists, music songs, but sometimes also from the models.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?

Yes, before starting the photo session i create a moodboard that defines how and what I want to shoot.

Studio, on location or both?

I prefer shooting in locations with natural lights but recently I did some shooting in Studio.

What has been your most memorable session and why?

In a very suggestive Castle near Turin which I worked for a fashion editorial magazine.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?

I have a Nikon. I often shoot with a 50 and 85mm.

What do you think of our new magazine?

I think it's a very interesting magazine that gives the opportunity to meet and get inspired by emerging hidden artists
