13 Sep 2019

Can you tell us a little about you?

Iam 45 years old and I posses two main hobby, gym, running and photography.

I was a soldier for twenty years and at one point I found it was time in my life to change and do something else. I have been a civilian since 2015 and from 2017 I took up photography going with all the impetus. Yes, I am a short period of the time as a photographer its only two years, but I opened my studio, I trained hard, learning how to take pictures on tfp principles and I try to realizing my passions in photography. I must admit that I really want what I do to be my livelihood. I hope my work is better and better. I am working offen with my wife who is makin makup for my models or occasional photography. The mos interesting for me is a session photo with models.

How and when did you get into photography?

Photography was my hobby since 2000 year but only familly photo.. Two and a half years ago I finished my first photography course in Warsaw and I saw that what I can do with photography is zero. I started to buy equipment, seriously processed photos and went to further training in this field, which brought great results in my work.

What does photography mean to you?

Photography is so important to me that I fall asleep thinking about photos and wake up thinking what and how I can do during the day. This is a drug :)

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.

My photography is mainly based on portrait, sensual and feminine photography. I like the beauty of women, the game in front of the lens and I enjoy how my work is appreciated by my clients or models

Where do you get inspiration from?

My inspiration with photography began with peeping pictures of my colleagues when they owned cameras and I only had a small compact camera. Then I could not afford anything else.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture ?

When making a frame, looking at the place, surroundings, model, I try to see what I have to achieve after processing the photo, the results I want to be as I assume. I also try to prepare for the session so that I have as little work as possible to set up the session in my head.

Studio, on location or both?

My studio is in Mińsk Mazowiecki next to Warsaw  countryPoland.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

I try to get into photos because too much money cost me equipment, training, programs. I also do photo TFP with models that can enrich my portfolio.

What has been your most memorable session and why?

Each session is different and brings something for my knowledge. The most interesting one was a family session a marriage and three children where everyone was arguing with each other and I had to fight to make some sensible photo to earn some money :) The fight paid off and I managed to finish the session with successful photos. :)

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?

I am working on Canon Eos 5d Mark II and Sony Alpha 7 III. The best lens is Canon 75-200 II f 2.8 and the second is Sigma 105mm f1.4

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?

Learn the basics of working with light and PS. :)

What do you think of our new magazine?

The magazine is interesting, the variety of cross-sectional photography, which motivates you to be in his meadow as a recognizable person :)
