Interview: Model Maria Kissov (Denmark)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I´m am a event coordinator and freelance model. I make noise in the streets and has been recognized in the profession. I work a lot, and strive to reach the top! As a model, I travel around the world to shoot with inspiring photographers at beautiful locations, and to challenge myself. I´m not that international as event coordinator, YET. But I will become. I´m about to build my name big.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would do my lips bigger, but I dare not. Imagine if I change my mind. I´m actually very satisfied.

How did you start modeling?

My mom was contacted by a Danish wedding photographer (when i was 15) who wanted to shoot pictures of me, cause she thought I had a very wild facial features and a slim figure for fashion.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I LOVE IT!! I feel free and i really appreciate doing what makes me happy. I think thats have a lot to say about how I get to where i am today.

What is your beauty regimen?

My nails actually. The first thing you do when you meet new peolpe, is to shake hands. First-hand impression is important for me.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am generally very enterprising, cooperative and competitive. very docile and does not let me limit. besides, I am confident and not near virginal.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to be at the top and be the best. I will travel the world and be creative and create the biggest collabs and relationships. finally I will be accredited in the art and be someone to remember.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Shooting in France/Nice for Karma of Charme.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Respect yourself and your limits. be realistic. Be confident. find your own way to express yourself for the pictures - never copies. be open and welcoming to your fellow men in the industry. Your personality has much to say, so be humle.

What do you think of the magazine?

Think its a perfect way to introduce and include photographers and models to each other. it's great to get an insight into others' view on the industry. Love it!!
