Interview: Cover Girl Claudia Misiak (Around the world)

Can you tell us a little about you?

My Name is Claudia Misiak. I grew up as only child living only with my mom and since I’m very young we moved around the world and lived in different countries.

I’m still traveling around the world a lot and couldn’t imagine staying in one place forever.

I always have been a little nerd in school and because of moving around many times I’m very talented in languages and in learning new ones.

Besides learning new languages I love to play piano, to read books, play video games, hang out with my friends and to go diving whenever possible.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

That I stop crying like a waterfall that often. For example when watching a movie or reading a book.

How did you start modeling?

It’s funny because when I was born all my mothers friends told her that I’ve got super long legs and I will become a model when I’m older. When I was getting older my mother told me that story and I started searching what models do and what it even means to be a model. Slowly I started to get interest and I went to some castings until one day I met a photographer and he was so amazed by my face and he and even random people told me many times to try working as a model.

School always had priority for me so after I finished school I went to castings/agencies and started modeling full time.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think it’s a cool job because you travel around a lot and meet many amazing people.

It can also become very stressful sometimes.

And you should definitely always be very careful in this job.

What is your beauty regimen?

I try to get enough sleep, do sports, drink a lot of still water, try to eat most of the time clean and I clean my skin everyday , peel it 2x a week and leave it hydrated after cleaning (for me works best Aloe Vera gel).

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I’m a hard working and stubborn person so whatever my dream is I will try to achieve it, I’m learning very fast and I’m very adaptable. Besides of that I’ve got a double tongue piercing which is very rare for a model.

What are your plans for the future?

At the moment I’m trying to be successful as a model and get signed into my favorite agencies.

I’ve got a lot of other plans for the future and I’m trying my best to achieve them one by one.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

To shoot for magazines are one of my favorite experiences because I always dreamt about to get published in magazines and whenever a dream comes true it’s one of the best feelings.

I’ve also met a lot of nice and lovely people and I’ve seen many new/nice places where we created a lot of amazing memories.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Never do anything you don’t want to do.Don’t ever let anyone tell you you aren’t good enough. Don’t ever change yourself because of others telling you to change something.

Act natural and just be you.Be careful and take care of yourself.Be on time if you get booked for shootings or have meetings with other agencies.

What do you think of the magazine?

Modellenland Magazine is a good opportunity for models, artists, photographers and others to show and promote their work to the world.
