Interview: Model Eyra Kendra (Spain)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Eyra and I'm a Spanish girl who doesn't like to be still, currently I live in Germany but I work in Holland, Belgium, Spain and Portugal mainly. I'm a nature, music, animal and travel lover. Although I have a scientific vocation, I have always been attracted to the arts, especially film and photography.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I think I wouldn't change anything about the way I look, because being myself is what got me this far and feeling good about yourself is essential for others to see you as you perceive yourself.
How did you start modelling?
I started modelling when I was 22 with some friends and my boyfriend and immediately I called the attention of some photographers with whom I have a very good relationship and I realized that I was passionate about it so little by little I was growing and learning
What do you think of the work as a model?
is a profession that allows you to meet inspiring and creative people and to travel the world. it also allows you to know yourself and to express yourself in an artistic way
What is your regimen?
I don't have a special beauty regimen, but I try to drink a lot of water and sleep well. I don't have any special diet, I love to eat a lot although I don't eat much meat and I don't exercise either although it's in my plans for this year to get on with it
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
I love to improvise and I am disciplined, I have enormous patience and I am always kind and polite to others even when someone is not polite to you I think it is good to show twice as much as some people lack
What are your plans for the future?
I have many plans for the future, including travelling (of course) and working hard. I also plan to start my own business in the sustainable fashion industry
What are your favourite experiences so far?
I have had many teaching experiences, every shooting I have done, every person I have worked with has given me something meaningful, and certainly the opportunities to enjoy great places.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?
Enjoy what you're doing while still being yourself. Self-confidence is very important, then it's about improving your skills and continuing to improve if it makes you happy.
What do you think of the magazine?
Modellenland is a great platform to showcase the work of models and photographers and get inspiration. I am very grateful to be part of this edition
