Interview: Photographer Gabo Nagy (Slovakia)

Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Gabo Nagy, i am an 29 old guy, i work at Samsung Electronics and i like photography J

How and when did you get into photography? I think it was 3 and half years ago when i started Photography. My brother owned a camera and i liked the pictures he took with it. Sometimes he borrowed it for me and i took some pictures too. Then i decided to buy my first camera.

What does photography mean to you?

Photography for me is creativity, i like to create art.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.

I shoot only women in various styles, classic portraits, fashion, boudoir or act photos.

Where do you get inspiration from? Works of other photographers often inspire me, i mostly use apps instagram and pinterest for searching inspiration.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture ?

Sometimes but i like to improvise too.

Studio, on location or both?

I prefer studio.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

I am a hobby photographer yet.

What has been your most memorable session and why?

I think my most memorable shooting was with Noemi Kovacs in Budapest, she is a professional model and i gained a lot of new experiences and knowledge on this shooting, also the studio in Budapest was amazing.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?

Canon and lens 50mm F1.4

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?

Just practice a lot.
