Interview: Model Federica Cenci (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Federica Cenci, I’m 46 years old and I live by the sea near Rome, in Italy.
I’ve been a ballet dancer and a bassist in a rock band. I’m passionate about everything I do and I try to do it better. At the same time I’ve always worked to have my independence and now I’m most passionate about is being a mother.
How did you start modelling?
About a year ago I did my first shooting for fun. The first interminabile lockdown had just ended and I wanted and needed toh ave new artistic experiences so when a photographer contacted me for a shooting I immediately said Yes.
What do you think of the work as a model?
My goalis first of all to learn and become good. I’ve a lot passion but also a long way to go. I like to express my emotions and photography is a great medium. Photography i san intersection between different artistic sensibilities, in this way the magico f stealing an instant from eternity is born. My prerogative is that I take things seriously, especially photography. I’m not satisfied and I chase my dreams by putting my soul into it.
I draw inspiration from the artists I collaborate with, everyone has something to teach me and above all I listen my heart. Generally ther is always a project behind my shooting and I’m very careful in taking care of the cloche and make up, but I confess that some of my best shoots were improvised at the moment.
I leave the post production work to the photographer. I prefer to take photos in Studio because it’s a more intimate situation and you can create a project in a better way.
My favorite genre is portrait photography. I like to tell something about myself through the eyes.
I absolute want a set with a white horse on the beach. I learned that to make progress you always have to want to learn and do everything with enthusiasm.
What are your plans for the future?
In September I’ve a lot of shooting planned both in the Studio and outdoors, especially portraits. I like to collaborate with innovative artists who believe in me

Photography is beauty and poetry, treat it with care!
