Can you tell us a little about you?

First of all, I want to appreciate this wonderful opportunity you gave me to share my thoughts and life/ career through my eyes. My name is Narangerel and I was born in Ulan-Bator, Mongolia. I am journalist, fashion designer & photo model. I grew up in big family and I am truly proud of my origin. It is one of the oldest Empire in the world and half of the population keeping its nomadic lifestyle till now. Mongolia is country with almost untouched natural beauty and resources.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I don’t have anything to change and I accepted myself as who I am.

How did you start modelling?

I became a model at age of 18 inMongolia. For the last 6 years, I’m modelling in Paris as a Face & Photo model. I’ve collaborated with L’Oréal Paris & SLA, Makeup Forever, Shiseido, NYX, IOMA, COLLAGENA, Catrice Mongolia.

What do you think of the work as a model?

Being a model is not easy and there are many types of modelling. Modelling is one those unique professions that lends itself to applying your specific talents in many interesting and adventurous way. As a model you get the chance to be creative and explore the different artistic options within the fashion industry. Many people dabble in multiple types of modelling before settling on the type that best fits their skills. Modelling taught me to be very patient and open minded.

What is your beauty regimen?

My morning starts with warm water, lemon and honey-it’s an amazing remedy for many diseases. I love yoga, moreover, I have my own complex of exercises. Beauty starts with beautiful skin, I clean and toning my face daily and applying night cream is most important part. I never sleep over with my makeup. I put face mask 2-3 times a week and I apply coconut or avocado oils to have beautiful, long and thick hair.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I think I am photogenic. I love my eyes expression on the photos and my look changes in every photo.

What are your plans for the future?

I created my 100% cashmere clothing brand “Maison Narangerel” in 2012. Mongolian cashmere is one of best, organic and light. It’s great resources to supply best quality cashmere and fine design clothing. I plan to continue designing and open my boutiques in Europe. My childhood dream was to establish children’s hospitals everywhere in the world where needed for based on uniting charitable causes of people. I will evolve and live for it.

What are some of your favourite experiences so far?

Once, I went to Zurich for body painting and we were to come and pose front of 1000 people in Sephora to make gala show for Makeup Forever. It was the best feeling that my adrenaline was rush up to my body, through my veins front of many gazes. It was unforgettable. Other very unique feeling was face moulding at Makeup Forever. Gucci produced face moulded runway for FW 2018, 2019. It is similar to it and you see your face and facial expressions realistically. Makeup Forever Artist are so talented and unbelievably skilled. I am grateful that I worked with them for last 6 years. And through the face moulding course you will only breath your nose and when moulding is seared, it’s dramatically separated you from reality and weigh you heavy down. That was fantastic feeling.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

My advice, to one who want be modelling or any other achievements, is be positive, hardworking and accept yourself first as who you are. Look at yourself in the mirror and find what’s beautiful and unique in you. Selflove is start of everything. Believe in yourself and don’t wait up someone to come up to you. Life is rich and full of chances. Act and react. Everything is up to you.

What do you think of the magazine?

“Modellen Land” is purely artistic and amazingly creative, new era magazine where empowering and exploring unique faces and talents of models. I would like to gratitude my appreciation to your creative team for sharing my thoughts and career experiences. I wish you to explore great models and be unique as you are.
