Interview: Model Rita Savinova (Moscow, Russia)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Rita Savinova. Some people use such variations as Margo and Margarita. I’m fashion journalist. I’m 25 years old muscovite. I enjoy sci-fi literature and movies, watching performances, сomédies musicales françaises and theatre and learning languages. I also like make photos and painting.
I don’t have the portfolio, just personal photos. Actually, I’m a fashion journalist. It would be an interesting experience to try myself as a model.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I would like to improve my logical thinking and skills concerning hard science for more complete view of the world.
How did you start modelling?
I’ve never been a model. However, it will be an interesting experience.
What do you think of the work as a model?
I’ve never tried myself as a model because of my height (169 m). Also I’m not so focused on my appearance because It’s a gift by nature. I better prefer to express myself through talents and images. Acting and modeling for me is a way to tell a story and change feelings, thoughts and emotions. Life is a multicolored transformation for me. Since school I’ve been dreaming of becoming a diplomat or an interpreter working in a place like The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, because the activity connected with communication and travelling, than I wanted to become a designer and later — an actress. I think that fashion journalism is a kind of quintessence of professional areas I like in different periods of life.
What is your beauty regimen?
Actually, I don’t have a regimen. Sometimes I can eat spaghetti at night when I come home late. I don’t gain weight because of regular athletics and asthenic body type. I’m indifferent to food but from time to time I like eclairs, strawberry, avocado and mango. Every morning I start with a cup of coffee like Dale Cooper and a bowl of buckwheat. I hate cooking (I’m pretty bad in it) but really like when somebody cooks for me.
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
Creativity, empathy, curiosity, being passionate in expressing emotions.
What are your plans for the future?
Enjoy life, prove myself in differents professional areas through creativity and travel a lot.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
Acting experience in theatre helps me to express suppressed feeling and emotions which transform into a pure energy of art.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?
Trust yourself and be courage, develop your mind and soft skills. My professional credo is créer des liens and smile!
What do you think of the magazine?
It’s awesome! I really liked. The magazine discovers new faces from different countries. It was really unexpected when Modellenland found me in facebook. I wish more and more people in Russia will know about it.
