Interview: Photographer Htoo Wai (Myanmar (Burma) (South East Asia)

Can you tell us a little about you? I was born in Myanmar. I am currently the Founder of Ajax Click Photography Service. I also instruct Basic Photo Editing & Manipulation Online Classes for photography enthusiasts monthly. How and when did you get into photography? Around 2012, I bought a Nikon D3200 Entry-Level camera. I started Portrait shoot in 2014 while searching for a lot of books on portrait photography online. My first Pre-Wedding photo shooting was very exciting. I did not have a complete set of camera equipment, but I did it with the belief that I could do it myself.

What does photography mean to you?

Everyone wants to be in a dream. They want to go into dreams. In fact, no matter how much you want to go in a dream. In real life, no one can go to a dream. So, they go from a Photo to a dream, realizing the reality of their imagery. That's why people are taking pictures. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. My favorite photography is Portrait and Fine Art. Where do you get inspiration from? My favorite and most used website is Pinterest. I also look at pictures of famous photographers in the Western. Ancient Greek culture, Ancient Italian and Roman cultures, Turkey and Macedonian culture are so fascinated to me.

Do you think in advance what you want in the picture?

A photo must give the viewer something emotional. Otherwise, you must be able to give a message to the viewer. Studio, on location, or both? I have a home studio at home. Most shots are shot in a location that suits the subject. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I am a Professional in Portrait Photography. What has been your most memorable session and why? Suddenly I could not think. Nikon or Canon? Favorites lens? I love Nikon D810 and my favorite Lens is Sigma Art 24mm-105mm f/4. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Nikon is the best for Photography only and should you buy Nikon D800 Series.
