Interview: Model Alina Zemliakova (Ukraine)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi to everybody! My name is Alina, I am 26 year old. I was born in Russia but I've lived all my life in Ukraine. So I am Ukrainian girl from Kiev. I have graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and got master degree in management of international tourism. But now I am working as a photomodel! My hobby has become my profession.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I really like my height for life, but for work as a professional model 168 cm is not enough. So I would have made my legs longer.Lol

How did you start modeling?

I always loved shooting, but I was not always in perfect shape. I lived in a hostel for 6 years and ate everything. On the fourth year of the university I began thinking about my appearance and went to the gym. Photos had become better and photographers in social media began to pay attention to my personality. From the beginning it was TFP format of the shooting. And little bit later I started receiving commercial offers.

What do you think of the work as a model?

Being a model is not as easy as it seems. Firstly, you do not constantly have a job. That means that you can work hard for a month and don’t have a work at all. There is a huge competition in the modeling business. There are a lot of beautiful girls in the world. So you have to be different from others and always keep yourself in good shape!

There is also a lot of fun working a model! You often feel like a star when you work with a team of professionals. And the most pleasant thing is traveling and expanding new horizons.

What is your beauty regimen?

My personal secret of beauty is a happy life without constant depressions and hunger strikes. Also every morning I drink a glass of water and throughout the day I try to drink at least 1.5 liters of water. So my skin always looks great! Honestly, I have never been to a cosmetologist! My hair always look brilliant because I have natural color and take vitamins, sometimes I make a hair mask from a raw egg and cognac, very effective!

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I have great communicative skills, open-minded person and I am always smiling!

What are your plans for the future?

I want to be on the covers of famous magazines!

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I’ll tell you about my favorite shooting which I have won! In Ukraine was organized the Internet project - DHunters- hunters for impressions. Sonia Plakydyuk - famous fashion and celebrity photographer of Ukraine was a full-fledged organizer. And she chose me for shooting, that I wished so much! The hole shooting was surprise for me , I didn’t know about anything: style of shooting, where it will be..And I was really impressed when was dressed in fashion BDSM clothes! But the best was the result - the coolest pictures I have ever had!

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

You must have a strong wish inside to become a model, it is desirable to realize this as early as possible, because the career of the model does not last long!
