Interview: Model Monika Lipigórska (Poland)

Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Monika, I am from Poland from Poznań, I am 26 years old, I work as a payroll specialist and I am also currently finishing my studies in the field of finance and accounting, so recently I have been spending a lot of time writing my thesis. Nevertheless, I try to find time for photo sessions.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to have more self-confidence, especially when I meet new people, I am a shy person although modeling helps me to fight it.

How did you start modeling?

It was quite recently, last year a colleague from my job who does pictures in her free time, said she needs someone to practice, she asked if I would help her. I agreed, but I warned her that I had never done it before. We met on the photo sesion, I was very stressed, I did not know how to behave in front of the camera lens. Only when I saw the final result, I realized that it turned out quite well and maybe I could do something more in this direction.And the adventure with modeling started. I created an account on one of the portals for models and photographers , I met there a few wonderful people who helped me develop.

What do you think of the work as a model?

It is definitely a very interesting job, specific, full of challenges and by the way you meet many new wonderful people. For me, this is a break from the daily duties and my work fron Monday to Friday, and above all a wonderful adventure, I hope that it will last as long as possible

What is your beauty regimen?

I don’ t have any, I do not obey any special diets, do not use any beauty tricks, etc.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I don’t know, I think I am too modest to know the answer to this question

What are your plans for the future?

My most important plan for this moment is to finish my studies, and for now I’m not looking ahead in the future

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

My first trip to open-air photography workshop. It was a very positive surprise, atmosphere was great, I met new friends and gained a lot of great memories.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Beginnings are the most difficult, but it is worth breaking and taking the first step. If one year ago someone told me that I will be able to pose for photos I would not believe it. I'm glad I tried. If you feel that you would like to become a model - do it!
