Interview: Model Maja Bianchini (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you?
Well, I actually don't know where to start. I don't like to describe myself but I will try by using my best friends words. When someone meets me for the first time the first impression is that I'm a conceited person, but when they start to know me their impression changes to “she's a humble tomboy!”.
If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I think that loving yourself is the most important thing in life and I actually do it. I wouldn't change a thing about me, even though I have a lots of flaws. We are all perfect in our imperfection.
How did you start modeling?
I started around fourteen years old by doing an audition for an agency. It turned out to be a scam, that's why now i believe only in a few of them. After that I decided that it was my goal to become a model without signing in with an agency.
What do you think of the work as a model?
You know, they say that it's a dangerous word, but it's dangerous only if you're not able to protect yourself. You have to always be one step ahead, in every situation, so that no one can drag you down.
What is your beauty regimen?
I don't have a standard beauty regimen. I take care of myself everyday but without imposing rules on me, I prefer to have healthy habits instead of strict rules.
What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
A high quantity of freckles, various facial expression and humility.
What are your plans for the future?
I'm the kind of person that lives day by day, but I also have long-terms projects. One of these is to be able of positively influencing as many people as possible everyday for the rest of my life.
What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
By now I loved all of my experiences, but the favorite one is with a photographer, and friend, in Milan. His name of art is Francis Theblueroom, it was such a pleasure to meet and pose for him.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
You must believe in yourself and be strong, always! Giving up is not a choice in this world, even if everyone say that you can't do it. Prove them wrong because you are your only limit.
What do you think of the magazine?
The magazine is a work of art and dedication, that's why i love it!
