Interview: Model Giulia Sara Carolina Ameglio (Italy)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I work as a professional model since 2012. I have been working in India, Spain, England and of course Italy, where I was born.

Nowadays I am also working as an actress, mostly for advertising and commercials. I love my job and looking forward to keep working all around the world.

I am also very appassionate of psychology, holistic therapies, natoropathy. In fact, I have a degree in Psychology and Communications and I am attending some courses in Shiatsu therapy and Naturopathy.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

If I could change something about myself now, I would be much more sporty, but I've never been so. :)

How did you start modelling?

My mum was a model so I am in the industry from the very beginning of my life, I started when I realized that I had all it needed to make this a real job. Not only the right body and the right face, but mostly strengh, determination, patience and a huge passion.

What do you think of the work as a model?

I love it! Every day is a new story and you never know where you are gonna go, what you are gonna do, it is a neverending surprise and this is what I love the most.

What is your beauty regimen?

I try to keep my skin as good as I can and drink a lot. As I said, I am not very sporty but I love yoga! I also love caribbean dances like Salsa and Bachata.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I am strong, determined, kind and easygoing. I think that I am one of those who always bring a smile, in every place I go. Meanwhile, I take my job very seriously so I always give 110% on set or on a show. I want everything to be perfect.

What are your plans for the future?

I will be in modelling industry as long as I can, than I have lots of plans for the future. Shiatsu therapy, natoropathy, I also want to live in Bali for a while...who knows, maybe open a beach bar and enjoy my life under the sun, or a happy doghouse in the countryside. I really have lots of different plans.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

India! I stayed there for few months in 2017 and worked as a model. It was pretty much hard at the beginning, Asia is so much different from Europe, but I found a new family over there, I have an awesome memory of those times. Very deep experience.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

Pictures are our Curriculum, when you start and nobody knows you, you have to show beautiful pictures to be considered for good jobs. A good agency can help you, of course, to get there. Good walking skills, elegance, charisma are the keys.

Also, be patient and always try to do your best when you are on set, and smile to people, they will remember your face. Don't try to fit into something that doesn't belong to you, for example a size or a look: in this industry there is space for everyone, you just have to find the right market for you.
