Interview: Model Marija Aliukaite (Lithuania)

Can you tell us a little about you?

I am an introvert human being with very opened minded personality. I am creator, thinker and seaker of knowing more, seeing under the covers. Exterrior Esthetics for me is as important as inner peace. Finally I am more into creating my personal style than being influenced by fashion.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to be less sen-sitive. Although this gives me much more possibilities to interact with all dimen-sions of this world. Sometimes it is getting too much tiring to be extra sensitive.

How did you start modelling? I was artist from my early age: performing on a stage, singing in concerts, television. One day got a proposal for modeling jobs. And so I started modelling.

What do you think of the work as a model?

Modelling to my mind is a very specific occupation requiring super exceptional appearance features. As mostly appearance is given by nature and so you suit or you don't. I think some people overvalue modelling as in general the purpose of being human is to learn skills and evolute, but not to stay in place no mater how much beautifull or ugly you was born. Yes, to some point it gives much comfort when you can suit the way you are, but on the other hand this is just appearance, which changes with time. If your personality is not getting more beautifull with age, than the result is very sad.

What is your beauty regimen?

I am vegetarian for about 15 years. And I adore slee-ping. I love stretching, walking in forest, swimming in lakes, rivers. I love cold showers.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Things which distinguish me from others is my way of seeing this world. I do not share my minds with people too much. Ambience is reflecting me. Want to change ambience, change your-self. I think I am very empathic person.

What are your plans for the future?

Creating creating creating. Music, art, visual pro-jections, artistic fashion photos, digital illustrations, cartoons, loving atmosphere, family, community and so on.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I think all jobs an experiences in Paris left me the most positive memories. In general I cannot except one or another projects, but all the time, spent in this city with French fashion culture and people I met shaped my own personal taste. And for that I am very grateful.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modelling?

If you want and you fit, great. But keep educate your personality for being not only model.

What do you think of the magazine?

I think that magazine is a great opportunity to get connected with modelling world community. What is more it is so important that magazine provides good quality information only about professionals. And so all my best wishes to keep this tendancy so.
