Interview: Model Lara Cevari (Germany)

Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Lara Isabell Cevari, I´m 20 years old (Am I? Wow time flies) and currently modeling and studying German as a foreign language in Munich, Germany. I was born and raised in Munich, but I also spend time in Hungary, where my mum originally comes from.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

I truly want to be good in informatics, maths and finally speak Spanish fluently but hooow?

(& to be honest, I want to change things on my body too, but hey who doesn´t?)

How did you start modeling?

When I was 15 I started thinking about modeling, so I wrote a few photographers an email to check it out, if it´s something for me. During one of this shootings, one photographer saw potential in me and send some pics to agencies. Slowly afterwards I took part in a model competition and signed my first contract.

What do you think of the work as a model?

It´s not only an amazing opportunity to see the world and make true friends (Latina girls are one of my fav, they are so funny and beautiful wooow) it´s hard work, too. Flexibility, patience and consistency is key.

What is your beauty regimen?

I´m not a beauty queen, but I just discovered the magic of coconut oil. I use it for my hair, face and body, it´s amaaaazing! Besides of that, I love working out, especially boxing, pilates and body weight exercises help me to stay fit + eat your greens guys haha

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I try to give the best, that is possible for me. While doing shootings I never complain, even when it´s 0 degrees (& I wear a mini dress)

What are your plans for the future?

I want to have another „on-stay" in London, it´s such a cool city!

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

I flew to Dubai for one day to shoot a Dior special for Emirates Woman Magazine. It was so crazy to fly all around the world for only ONE day! (I know the environment won´t thank me for that, sorryyyy… using my old bike to get from A to B in Munich to compensate that) + the month in London.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

First : build up a strong book and do some great polaroids / snaps, they are so important, it´s the first thing a client will see. And you only have one second to impress, so make it the best!

What do you think of the magazine?

Thanks for getting in touch with me! it´s a lovely thing to get to know the people behind the fashion business Xx
