Interview: Model Aleksandra Damps (Poland)

Can you tell us a little about you?

Hi, my name is Aleksandra and I have 21 years old. I belong to the agency called „Myst Models” in Warsaw.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Sometimes I demand too much from myself. I should be more relaxed and calm.

How did you start modeling?

I wanted to be a model since I was a child. It was my big dream - photo sessions, catwalks, competitions. But I was born in a small village and my parenst couldn't help me to make my dreams come true. I knew I had to work very hard to achieve my goal so I did. I found a job very early to save some money and then I started to travel to different cities. I made my first photo sessions... and it was good! Photographers began to notice me and everything went in the right direction.

What do you think of the work as a model?

If you want to be a model, you must be universal – so I am. I took a part in few beauty contests. I won the first place in competition called „Miss the Carnival” 2017 in Poland and title Vice Miss in „Pastel Dream 2016” competition. I appear at many workshops for photographers as a model. I go to a lot of photo sessions and I'm constantly completing my portfolio. All of this is my work and passion at the same time but mostly I'm in love with catwalk. I belong to the agency called „Myst Models” in Warsaw.

What is your beauty regimen?

I think that every women should take care of her body. When I have a moment for myself, I try to use it as best as it possible. Besites horse riding, I swim at the pool. I attach a lot of weight to my complexion. I'm doing a peeling first, then I use face masks. For a fresh look I wash my face with cold water.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

I just can't sit still. I always have to do something that makes me grow. I think it mainly distinguishes me from others.

What are your plans for the future?

One day I want to sit on an armchair with my husband and say ''I did everything that I wanted. And I did it damned well''. I just want to be proud of myself. It is my biggest life goal.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

Meeting new people from the world of fashion.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Just don't give up kids. You need to make one more step to make your dreams come true.

It's a very impressive way to show the art which is the world of fashion and all the people who create it.
