Interview: Photographer Luisa Mazzanti (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you?
My name is Luisa and I am a young girl from Italy who discovered her love for photography a lot of time ago. I am a very extravagant person, with a strong character, who loves nature and well-being. Photography for me is a way of expressing myself and my feelings.
How and when did you get into photography?
I was 11 years old when I discovered photography for the first time, thanks to my grandfather.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography means feeling, words, poetry. It’s a beautiful mute language.
Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
Most people descrive my photography like melancholy, dark. I like sensuality, mistery and let you imagine. I like to take the reader on a travel of imaginary journey.
Where do you get inspiration from?
I get inspiration through internet, pinterest, other photographers, images, magazines. Everywhere. Sometimes also a particular place or a person or an expression can inspirates me.
Think you in advance what you want in the picture?
Sure. Before taking photos I think what is the mood I want. What do I want to convey?
Studio, on location or both?
I prefere location but depends. I like also Studio.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
I consider myself a paid professional.
Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
I use Nikon but I like both of them. My favorite lens is 24-70 f./2.8 Nikkor
What do you think of our new magazine?
I think the Modellen Land Magazineis is a very interesting magazine that gives the opportunity to meet emerging hidden artists. It extrapolates beauty from a wheat field.
